Essential Responsibilities:

·          Designs speaker systems using LEAP, BASSBOX and other acoustic analysis software.

·          Develops BOM of loudspeaker system.

·          Creates loudspeaker specs under the direction of the Engineering Manager.

·          Creates engineering development schedule according to Marketing plan.

·          Tunes the loudspeaker system. Designs and creates crossover network prototypes.

·          Develops loudspeaker system prototypes.

·          Measure loudspeaker samples and create reports.

·          Provides technical advice and expertise to others in the department.

·          Inspects loudspeaker first articles for compliance with specifications and creates reports.

·          Collaborate with mechanical engineers to develop 2D and 3D component and cabinet drawings.

·          Regularly communicates design aspects and project status to local and remote managers via e-mail, teleconference, web conference, or video conference.

·          Performs related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

1.       REQUIRED Specific Knowledge, Expertise, Coursework

·          Loudspeaker acoustic design knowledge.

·          Basic amplifier and other audio electronic product design knowledge.

·          Woodworking, sheet metal, injection molding, metal castings, extrusions, machining, materials, finishes, associated tooling knowledge.

·          Knowledge of international loudspeaker standards such as JIS, GB and IEC.

·          Proficient with loudspeaker design tools as LEAP; SpeaD; FineBox, FineCone, etc.

·          Proficient with loudspeaker measurement tools as SoundCheck; MLSSA; LMS, Clio, etc.

·          Good ability in speaking; listening and writing English skills.

2.       REQUIRED Degree and/or Training, including specifically defined educational equivalent

·          Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, acoustics,  physics or 10 years equivalent industry experience.

3.       REQUIRED Specific Prior Experiences

·          3 years experience in loudspeaker design.

4.       REQUIRED Physical Demands

·          Employee is regularly required to sit; use hands & fingers, handle, or feel; talk and hear.

·          Employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, lift or manipulate speaker cabinets up to 30kg weight.

·          The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

·          Employee is occasionally required to be mobile within the office space.

 这样的公司 是很多，但是未必每家公司都有这样的平台，要看这家公司目前的发展情况、前景如何，在国际的口碑，在大陆的举动等方面。

 而且，作为工程师，也要考虑自己做的产品线是否世界顶级品牌，是否跟跨国团队合作，自己能贡献什么，收获又是什么？对于自己日后的发展有什么帮助？

绝对不是HARMAN，没有一家音响企业能进世界500强。 HARMAN集团的年销售额还不到USD50亿。这个销售额在中国都进不了500强。难道楼主指的是在音响行业的500强？

啊？我朋友在里边啊~可靠信息如下：

1、哈曼国际，以制造音响和车载音频设备著称，有三块业务：汽车音响、专业音响和消费电子，共有14个品牌。

2、在音响领域，是唯一进入全球500强的企业，全球行业排名前5位，2009年销售额２９亿美元。中国，将是哈曼国际的一个重心，计划在未来三到五年，销售份额的三分之一都应在中国市场，但现在大概就是15%，未来至少是30%。

3、Consumer Group 的美国RD Center于9月30日关闭，部分RD高管搬至深圳，跨文化的团队交流合作，深圳将成为哈曼的技术核心。深圳RD center的定位:产品定义/规划+自主研发，逐渐减少方案提供商的作用。
