Job title:Electrical Manufacture & Test Engineer

Main Purpose of the job:
Provide PCBA manufacturing and system test engineering expertise to support all technical aspects of Company global manufacturing activities.
Essential responsibilities:
· *Primary responsibility is support and technical management of Company CM partner manufacturing operations - including PCB assembly, test, and system final assembly.
· *Lead engineering engagement for all technical manufacturing issues, and work with CM partner, Sourcing, Product Development, Product Operations, and/or Quality teams to resolve any issues related to quality, process, material, etc.
· *Work with Product Development organization to influence and collaborate on product manufacturing test strategy starting from concept phase. Responsible for monitoring the deployment of Company’ manufacturing test infrastructure - including test flow setup, test fixture development, final test development etc.,
· *Maintain and fix test fixtures and other PLTE issue on-site and in time. Do periodical testing line maintenance/calibration/GR&R to ensure the test accuracy during mass production.
· *Support PD and Product Engineering team on robust product-level DFX, manufacturability analysis with mass production know-how.
· Develop, manage and update process FMEAs, and ensure process control plans are properly implanted and executed.
· *Ensure proper version control to verify that engineering changes are properly implemented in mass production. Contribute to the technical study and decision making on engineering change during mass production stage.
· *Monitor the daily manufacturing metrics performance, and proactively manage performance to ensure that quality, cost, and delivery commitments are met.
· Lead failure analysis and corrective actions during mass production, make lesson learnt for continuous improvement
· *Drive continuous improvement activity, such as production efficiency improvement, yield improvement, test time reduction and process optimization.
· *Build up Company high volume production know-how by growing and developing the engineering team, and by applying lessons learned and best practices.
· Continuously assess CM partner’s high volume mass production technical capability versus Company needs. *Manage the technical engagement of partner teams, resources and personnel during mass production phase.
· *Influence thru knowledge of latest industry innovations & technology trends and core expertise in high volume manufacturing processes. Including PCBA & SMT, system assembly and test etc.,

Job requirements:
1)Education and experience
l Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electronic engineering or equivalent.
l MBA or Master’s degree in management or engineering is a plus
2)Competence requirements
l Minimum 5 years of work experience in related areas, such as high volume SMT manufacturing, assembly and production test, NPI and manufacturing engineering.
l Experience in production test system development. Understanding of high volume test environments and instruments to test integrated wireless audio products (such as WIFI, Audio etc.).
l Skills in mechanical/electrical engineering and knowledge in operations management is a plus.
l Experience in managing technical operations within a contract manufacturing model. Experience working with and managing top-tier EMS partners is a plus.
l Knowledgeable on core manufacturing engineering disciplines, including lean manufacturing, six sigmaDFT/DFM/DFA and FMEA etc.,
l Project management and leadership skills.
l Excellent communication skills.
l Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
l Excellent English and Mandarin is a must, both verbally and in writing.
